Chiunque abbia mai calzato la tavola, avrà notato una notevole difficoltà nell' apprendere questo sport.
Il perchè è semplice: non è uno sport naturale, e per naturale intendo che il modo di scivolare non è un modo naturale, soprattutto confrontato allo sci...Perchè?
Sullo sci ci poniamo frontali verso la discesa, o comunque lo siamo molto di più che non che con lo snowboard, e ci poniamo frontali verso qualcosa che ci incute timore, la discesa!

Facile: Una selezione tra 100 o più persone, a cui se passiamo con successo segue un corso, costoso, e che prevede una formazione di ben 12 settimane in giro per diversi resort(di queste dodici 7 sono sulla tavola con istruttori nazionali).
In questi corsi la didattica ed il modo di approccio verso i nostri "clienti" è fondamentale. Inoltre i diversi metodi di assistenza verso i clienti ed i diversi metodi di insegnamento vengono studiati a fondo (7 settimane), ed io ci sono passato in prima persona!
Pensate quando un insegnate di sci ha la possibilità di insegnare lo snowboard dopo 10 giorni di preparazione cosa esce out!

Let's be clear, there are plenty of "master deceivers" that teachers are not, and who take money for start simply by without giving you any real help.

A ski and snowboard, and more ed un altra solo di snowboard. Ovviamente la gente potrebbe ritenere più affidabili coloro che lavorano in una struttura dove insegnano più discipline, ma purtroppo è l opposto.
Ci sono addirittura maestri di FONDO che insegnano lo snowboard proprio lì.. e tante persone curiose hanno preso lezione senza imparare perchè gli insegnanti erano incompetenti di prima categoria.... probabilmente hanno anche desistito trovandolo uno sport difficile... quindi gli snowboarder diminuiscono notevolmente, perchè dopo un primo approccio lasciano perdere.
La scuola che insegna solo snowboard addirittura può far paura, sembrare quasi un ghetto a determinate personalità... ma loro sanno insegnare davvero uno sport che è sintomo di libertà e passione.
Mi raccomando quindi, se dovete fare una lezione e spendere soldi assicuratevi che sia proficua, assicuratevi di avere a che fare con un PROFESSIONISTA e non con un cialtrone!
